$205,000 Age Discrimination Settlement

Attorney James Sabatini recently secured a $205,000.00 settlement in an age discrimination case. The case was pending in Hartford Superior Court.  The client was asked when she was going to retire.  She told her employer that she had no plans to retire as she enjoyed her job.  After refusing to retire, the employer commenced a campaign to set her up for failure.  The employer began assigning her work that she was not trained to do.  The employer assigner her work outside of her written job description.  When she protested, the employer then fired her claiming that she had engaged in insubordination.
