FMLA Lawsuit Filed In Connecticut Federal Court

Sabatini and Associates has filed a FMLA lawsuit on behalf of their client in Connecticut federal court. Our client worked for a large construction company. He suffered from a medical condition that caused him to miss some time from work. He also needed to have surgery for the serious health condition. When he told his supervisor that he missed time from work due to the medical condition and that needed to take time off from work in the near future to have surgery; his employer fired him. It is illegal under the FMLA to deny an employee medical leave for a serious health condition. If you have been denied FMLA or have been terminated as a result of requesting medical leave, you have legal recourse.
